What are the possible side effects of Oligogranul Magnesium?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using Oligogranul Magnesium gluconate and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

nausea or vomiting;

fast or slow heart rate;

feeling light-headed, fainting; or
-
warmth, tingling, or redness under your skin.
Continue taking Oligogranul Magnesium gluconate and talk to your doctor if you have any of these less serious side effects:

diarrhea;
-
bloating, gas; or
-
upset stomach.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
Side effects of Oligogranul Magnesium in details
The adverse effects of parenterally administered Oligogranul Magnesium usually are the result of Oligogranul Magnesium intoxication. These include flushing, sweating, hypotension, depressed reflexes, flaccid paralysis, hypothermia, circulatory collapse, cardiac and central nervous system depression proceeding to respiratory paralysis. Hypocalcemia with signs of tetany secondary to Oligogranul Magnesium sulfate therapy for eclampsia has been reported.
What is the most important information I should know about Oligogranul Magnesium?
- Lab tests, including Oligogranul Magnesium levels, may be performed while you use Oligogranul Magnesium. These tests may be used to monitor your condition or check for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.
- Oligogranul Magnesium should be used with extreme caution in CHILDREN; safety and effectiveness in children have not been confirmed.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Oligogranul Magnesium while you are pregnant. It is not known if Oligogranul Magnesium is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Do NOT use Calcium Carbonate/Oligogranul Magnesium Carbonate if:
you are allergic to any ingredient in Calcium Carbonate/Oligogranul Magnesium Carbonate
you have an increased calcium level in your blood
